### Prerequisites
1. Java version 8.0 or above
### Instructions
1. First create an user account in [https://seagrid.org/](https://seagrid.org/) using 'Create Account'
2. Once the account is created you will receive an email to the provided email account to confirm the user account. Please follow the instructions and login to the account through the link provided.
3. Once your account is created, until gateway admin gives you permission to create and launch experiments in the portal.
4. Download SEAGrid from [https://seagrid.org/](https://seagrid.org/); click button 'Download Desktop App'. OR directly download the link - [https://seagrid.org/jnlp-prod/gridchem.jnlp](https://seagrid.org/jnlp-prod/gridchem.jnlp)
5. Locate your Java control panel;
1. Windows path: Start → Programs → Java → Configure Java
2. Mac path: Apple Menu → System Preferences → Click Java Icon → Java Control Panel opens
6. Click on ‘Security’ tab
7. Click ‘Edit Site List’
8. Add ‘[https://seagrid.org/](https://seagrid.org/)' to the Exception Site List; click OK
9. Click OK on Java Control Panel window.
10. To run the client, locate the downloaded seagrid.jnlp client and double click.
